Serving the highlights from the daily scoops on the app

Hey friends - welcome to the brand new weekly Scoops Spotlight!

We’ll serve up a little summary of the week with the company scoops that got the most community reactions. Plus, there is some fun stuff we’ll keep developing.

If you haven’t downloaded the app yet, follow the directions at the bottom of the email. It’s an invite-only beta right now, so you have exclusive access.

🌎 The Big Picture

This week, it was great to see that layoffs and unemployment have stayed low, which means job security for many workers. Plus, wages are on the rise, giving people a bit more financial breathing room. On top of that, mortgage rates have dropped just a bit, making it easier for more folks to step into the housing market.

Shoppers embraced the holiday season discounts, a good sign of people's spending power. However, trade tensions with China and disagreements on tackling plastic pollution highlight global challenges.
