This was a quietly positive week. The stock market continued riding the positive momentum without any significant news events disrupting the flow. Next week could be tumultuous. Congress also only has a week to avoid a government shutdown, and the October inflation report comes out on the 14th. Anything that shakes the narrative of cooling inflation, slower hiring, and peak borrowing costs will get everyone frazzled.
