Earnings season is pretty much over. Did you have a chance to celebrate this quarterly financial festival? Well, the stock market did. However, this week was kinda week. Big Tech took all the credit last week, as it should, because it’s carrying the team.

The most noticeable trend for me in this season’s reports has been short-term shareholder appeasement. While shareholders are always the top priority for publicly traded companies, this quarter struck me as a strange time to make big tributes.
