🤓 Inside Scoop...

Right-to-repair has been a highly-debated issue in manufacturing for many years, particularly within the technology sector. Many industries have loose rules. You're allowed to change the tires on your car. But in tech, software licensing rules make repairs a lot more complicated. Although not always intentional, many manufacturers make personal or third-party repair difficult, even impossible. When consumers cannot repair their product, they are forced to discard it and buy a new product, contributing to more electronic waste and higher manufacturing emissions volumes.
